in many forms.
Cooking a pasta dish is a daily act. Choosing a great flavour that takes you by surprise is an act of love repeated from home to home.
In the beginning was love.
That of a Piedmont boy for a Sardinian girl.
Her name was Fanny, his Ercole. They met in the Piedmont region
and it was love at first sight.
A dream in a suitcase.
Love is also that of a boy for a land of wind and sun.
When Ercole moved to Sardinia, he took with him a suitcase
full of passion and dreams to be fulfilled.
We rolled up our sleeves.
Ercole rolled up his sleeves and set to work immediately:
he went around the countryside buying cereals and reselling them.
Trade was in his blood.
And there was a mill.
Why buy in what can be produced on your own land?
That’s how the mill came into being.
The first step was taken in making Ercole’s dream come true.
From generation to generation.
The times were ripe to try new paths:
The first order of 5,000 tons of wheat flour for Algeria
augured well for the future.
This was the moment to hand over the baton.
Ercole’s children embraced his project of a lifetime,
perpetuating his work and his values.
The pasta factory is established!
Ercole’s greatest dream came true: the pasta factory F.lli Cellino was established.
We are selective.
Growth is a daily commitment: every day the best grains in the
world are selected to bring all the quality of Pasta Di Sardegna to the table.
Lots of shapes, lots of flavour.
Alongside the 44 shapes of the classic range
are 12 bronze-extruded pasta shapes.
There’s no limit to good things.
Passion and numbers.
In order to produce 65,000 tons of pasta a year,
Alberto and Lucina rely on no less than 200 workers:
97% Sardinian, 100% proud to continue the work of Ercole Cellino.
Evolution is a natural process.
Just like pasta. The new look of Pasta Di Sardegna plays with
transparencies and colours, letting you see the shapes in a new light.
Each shape, whether long, short or special, takes centre stage.
The best recipe is one made with a few, simple, quality ingredients.
Just like Ercole’s great dream. Just like a plate of Pasta Cellino.
commitment and safety
From cultivation to the consumer:
every step of the way is controlled every day to guarantee an outstanding result in terms of organoleptic properties and reliability.
The same commitment, day after day.
When choosing Cellino, you can be sure that you are purchasing an extraordinary pasta whose production undergoes stringent controls designed to check operations as well as quality and safety standards. This certainty is backed up by the investment of resources to ensure that production remains state-of-the-art, because growth is a consequence of daily commitment. The pasta factory produces 65,000 tons of pasta a year for 40 private labels and Pasta Cellino. There’s no limit if you really want something and the Cellino Group is a good example of how passion combined with hard work can take you a long way.
