Their name evokes the image of something winding and curved; Tortiglioni no. 383 are characterised by their straight shape with spiral surface grooves that accommodate every sauce: from creamy ones, such as carbonara or béchamel, to light tomato- or vegetable-based sauces. They also lend themselves to pasta salads, adding a touch of originality. To achieve al dente perfection, tortiglioni require only about nine minutes cooking time.
